Help with build
Can someone help me with this build. I have a Monk/Nec that is a pure healer. The problem is that if an enemy gets to me I die in about 5 seconds. I can't seem to find any skills that would make me a stronger player so I just stack my bar with heals. I want to be able to heal but also defend and protect myself. Can someone help??

being a monk automaticly means you are enemy no.1 of the opposing team. you will always get a lof of flack.
so that leaves some threads to deal with. elementists, rangers, mesmers, warriors...they all want to cook you. ranger considering that most rangers are badly played, this is your least worry. their poison is 5 pips of degen. I suggest packing healing breeze, or packing mend ailment. be warned that the later is a temporary solution. speaking as a ranger, if someone removes poison, i just laugh and put it back up in a sec. warrior since you have a necro secondary, you could try to make them less effective. weakness and faintheartiness sound like good condition / hexes to me. If you are facing a a wa/n, then there is a good chance that one has plague touch, so it may be better to hex him instead of using a condition. mesmer these are a pain. if they play backfire, i'd say remove hex does the trick since backfire has a long recharge. if they disrupt or drain energy, then the only reason i can think of to protect is Spellbreaker. elementist spike damage. what to do? well ,since you obviously have zero points in protection, this is a hard one. Healing Touch may be nice to save your own butt. personally i don't understand why you have 5 points in Smiting. what does that do for you? and i think you haven't applied any runes. runes are cheap these days and a nice bosot for your stats. grtz Makk. |

I hate default trappers... On that note use balthazaars spirit so the gang bang provides nourishment as well as excruciating pain. That way you can spam more healing spells. OR be like most cookie cutter monks, and go warrior secondary so you have all those 75% evade skills.
